Web design in Bournemouth, Dorset
When we produce websites at Lakeville, we ensure that they are all simple to navigate and intuitive, but with a unique design that ensures it is a visually pleasing user experience. They are also coded with the latest technologies which adhere to the W3C's web standards (for further reading, see their website here). In short this means your website will have quicker loading times (not everyone has broadband) and your website will not contravene the Disability Discrimination Act - making your website accessible to the biggest possible audience.
Your level of input or involvement is entirely up to you. We understand that some people may have a clear idea of what they want from their website presence, whilst others understand they need a website, but are unsure or feel daunted about how the process works. If this is the case, please see below.
The web design process
- You contact us, stating the nature of your business, if you have an existing website and/or what you require from it
- We contact you to arrange a telephone/email/in person interview to discuss your needs further
- Lakeville give you a quote, outlining the total cost and the time it will take to complete your project
- We register the domain name for your website (should it be required)
- You supply us the text content for the site - we can also use your own images should you prefer to. In any other instance, we can use our own stock photography resources
- Lakeville construct a draft copy of the web design for your critique, making any changes or alterations that you see fit
- The final draft is completed, at which point you have another opportunity to make any changes
- The completed website is published to the internet for you and the world to see!
There are many enhancements we can integrate if a simple static website is not enough for you. Will your website require continuous updates? Can you use Microsoft Word?
